Come and join us in the great outdoors at the stunning Sculpture Park at Waitakaruru Arboretum, 15km east of Hamilton, where 18 of us painters will be creating artworks.
Our live artworks will be inspired by the site and we will be creating from Saturday 16 to Sunday 24 February. I will personally be at the park painting live for the whole day on Tuesday 19 February and can't wait!
As humble painters we are honoured to have been invited to create works in one of New Zealand's leading sculpture parks. Over the last 19 years, husband and wife team John and Dorothy Wakeling have painstakingly converted the derelict quarry into 42 acres of woodland garden housing contemporary sculptures amongst ponds, lakes, waterfalls and native bush.
View the exhibition of our completed artworks from Sunday 24 February - Saturday 9 March at the Waitakaruru Arboretum and don't miss the Auction of Paintings on Saturday 9 March!
