The story of Salvation

From the womb of darkness of Te Pō, the long night, comes a new dawn. This divine feminine pregnant woman lies in the centre of a large leaf. Her size is fairy-like and surreal and she feels as though she embodies nature herself. Emerging from the deep night, new birth is on its way. Life always finds a way.

This work was exhibited at the international painting exhibition "Instants" at The Dolmabahoe Palace Museum Art Gallery, Istanbul, Turkey in March 2008.
